Proper Preparation Prevents a Poor Performance
Member of the Antigua & Barbuda Football AssociationWhat we do:
Our program consists of training sessions on Saturday’s per the school calendar. We follow the
Coerver Coaching Curriculumn.
Throughout the year we organise friendly games locally on the island. We also take different age groups to elite tournaments abroad.
The 5P's football program means that our boys and girls are exposed to the highest standard of training. While working on individual skill and team work, these players learn great life lessons. The participation and support of the parents is essential to the development of the players.

HISTORY
5P’s took in its first students in October 1997 but was given a name and developed a club constitution in early 1998.
5P’s was founded by:
Noel Egan, a registered English FA coach and FIFA Referee.
Joyce Kentish, a prominent local Lawyer.
Daven Joseph, who worked in the Antigua Government Marine Life - Division.
Hordley Forbes, Leslie Fuchs and Several others
APPROACH
From inception the idea was to;
Direct, focus and develop the youths in our program.
Create a more broadened football player and individual.
Foster team spirit, have a sense of belonging to a fraternity of friends from every strata.
Bring family involvement to the core of our program.
Instill role model behavior in older players in order to; care , protect and help juniors.
Enhance and strengthen players education.
Develop competitive team habits.
Assist with furthering education at the Tertiary level.
Make better equipped and respectable adults.
Guide adult players to be role models and get involved in training new 5P’s members.
METHODOLOGY
To achieve this level of player development, 5P’s has always had a strong and committed group of Parents who volunteered to be the Executive Members, Coaches etc. This is still the case today, some twelve years later.
We involved our players as a family and provided good coaching and attention to their
whole-person development through our program.
We broadened the scope of our players by making travel to the Caribbean region as well as
far away countries, as part of our youth development program.
The excitement before and the development of the kids after these trips are so overwhelming and full-filling.
